ASTRAL PROJECTION

Perhaps this has happened to you. It’s the middle of the night, you are half asleep, fading in and out of consciousness. You try and move, only to realize that your body is completely paralyzed!

Don’t worry there is nothing wrong with you, science has known about sleep paralysis for quite some time. It is a chemical released by your brain while you sleep to keep you from moving around and acting out your dream in real life.

What happens during this experience is quite common:

You either force yourself out of the sleep paralysis, waking yourself up in the process, or you let it go and fall deep into a dream. However, it is important for you to known, that in this state of sleep paralysis, you can induce what is known as an Out of Body Experience (OBE) or an ASTRAL PROJECTION.

This term comes from the belief that, once you leave your body, you are using an astral body to explore the astral plane. The astral plane is a realm in which all manner of spiritual beings congregate, yourself included.

Many researchers and spiritual seekers have explored this phenomenon and have given their perspectives on the matter, along with techniques on how to induce such an experience. Robert Monroe, a man known as being the pioneer of the astral plane, created a whole system for astral projection. He even began the Monroe Institute to further research the topic and teach it to aspiring students.

The techniques are simple and varied. The truth of the matter is, it can happen to anybody at anytime. During sleep paralysis, you simply have to imagine a place you would like to go to, and there is a chance it will happen.

It is important for all of us to explore the mysteries the universe has to offer.

We must take it upon ourselves to to experiment with this new information.
